Description of the programme
The training course is organized together with the Latvian Construction Industry Digitalization Association.

- Material specifications and job descriptions: examples of CoClass and Uniclass.
- Quantity extraction from the BIM model.
- Work plan and cash flow.
- Practical work: quantity extraction and preparing an estimate.
- Using the model to do measurements.
- Quantity extraction from a real BIM model and BOM exporting to Excel.
- Use of BIM model in automated estimation based on the existing cost database.
- Questions and answers, discussions.

Ēriks Vitols

The holder of a bachelor's degree in construction from Riga Technical University; a professional master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a financial degree from Riga Business School; certified C # programming language specialist.
More than five years of experience in project management (mostly design-build projects), including developing estimates using both traditional (2D) documentation and the BIM model. Practical experience in organizing construction works, implementing BIM and using BIM tools to meet practical needs. Helps construction and manufacturing companies to implement and integrate BIM technologies on a daily basis, as well as to manage BIM projects.
