Description of the programme
Theory – 3.5 hours, practical classes – 1 hour.

- In-depth explanation of terms and examples of application.
- What to consider when developing contracts, standards, etc. documents?
- What are 4D and 5D BIM and how is it used in practice?
- What is a buildability analysis and what information can be derived from it?
- Levels of detail and information.
- Questions and answers.
Holder of a BIMM Master's degree from Middlesex University in London and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Transport and Communications. Studied civil engineering at the Riga Technical University. Holder of a project manager's certificate from the Bad Harzburg Academy of Agriculture.12 years of experience in the construction industry in design and development project management, as well as BIM project management and implementation. In the field of BIM and IT, Igor specializes in BIM content (digital asset catalogues) and information databases. Participated in the development of LVS 1052: 2018 BIM terminology standard. At the Institute of Transport and Communications, Igor gives lectures on simulation modelling in logistics and computer graphics algorithmic tools.
Chairman of LVS / Standardization Technical Committee No. 56 «Building Information Modelling» and Latvian representative of CEN / Technical Committee No. 442 «Building Information Modelling». Holder of a professional master's degree in construction at the Riga Technical University. Seven years of experience in BIM modelling, coordination, management and implementation. Participated in the development of the BIM manual and LVS 1052: 2018 BIM terminology standard, as well as BIM experience transfer trips to Denmark and Finland. Developed and led the RISEBA BIM course for master degree students. A consultant of Latvian Union of Civil Engineers and InfoEra lecturer.
